Search visibility audit and training for major European Union Agency
Cimex was commissioned to conduct a comprehensive search visibility audit by a major European Government Agency, which involved producing bespoke recommendations and presenting the findings to stakeholders and web teams.
Cimex was briefed to benchmark the current level of search visibility and performance of the website throughout a number of European search engines, to conduct a full site audit to raise any functional, technical or content concerns and to provide practical recommendations to resolve potential issues, which will improve the websites search visibility.
Cimex was tasked to present the final audit findings and recommendations in the form of a practical training session to in-house technical and editorial teams.
Cimex visited the agency’s European headquarters, in order to set the remit and scope of the project. This requirements gathering stage allowed both parties to set priorities, project parameters and overall objectives of the project.
Cimex then compiled a full and comprehensive search audit — referring to the pre-defined set of objectives and priorities — and were able to provide the client with a clear, concise and bespoke set of actionable and accountable recommendations.
The recommendations followed best practice guidelines and methodologies to promote long term and holistic improvements in search visibility, as well as pointing out any potential quick wins.
Cimex delivered the audit findings and recommendations, in person at the agencies European headquarters. In addition – Cimex conducted a bespoke training session, using the clients website as the foundation for the training programme.
