If you’re a Facebook user, you’ll definitely have encountered widgets. These are mini applications which can be plugged into a web page or other interface to enhance individuals’ online experience via a single application.
With fun titles like Compare Your Friends, Food Fight, Zombies, Flckr-feeds and Where I’ve been Maps, it’s estimated that over 65 million applications were installed on Facebook in June at an average of 2.5 a user.
